After the conclusion of training, coordinate a meeting between the training and recruiting teams.  The purpose of this meeting is for the trainers to give feedback to the recruiters on how successful the hiring process was based on the time training has spent with the recent hires.  Use these feedback sessions to refine and improve the hiring process.  During this meeting review:

·Who performed well during training? Was the recruiting team able to predict which individuals would stand out? Can we use their prior experience or responses during the interview to update our candidate profile?

·Who struggled in the class? Why did we decide to hire them? Were there any red flags during the hiring process that we didn’t pay close enough attention to?

·Who dropped out of the class? What were the earliest signs this person was not going to be successful? Was there a way to determine this before an offer was made?

This post-training meeting strengthens the front end of the interview process and provides critical feedback to the hiring team.  Over time you’ll find this greatly improves and fine-tunes the interview process.
